Her first film, ‘Amazon Souls’, where she immersed in the lives of the Huaorani tribe and was made a real-life Amazon Warrior Queen to spread their message about protecting their land premiered at the Cannes Film Festival then was distributed worldwide. Later, she was chosen to be an advocate for the tribe to propose a bilateral agreement to the Ecuadorian government.
Sarah Begum has been highlighted by the press for her work in the Amazon Rainforest. The Guardian’s San Miguel Rich List named her as one of the world’s top trailblazers as an enriching explorer who has been helping others.
