In this powerful conversation, Amanda Kloots bravely reflects on love, loss, and life with her husband, Broadway star, and Tony Award nominee Nick Cordero, whose public battle with COVID-19 and tragic death made headlines around the world. From the confusing early days of his illness to searching for signs of hope in every update from the doctors to the healing sound of Elvis’s laughter, Amanda details how she approached even the most devastating moments with the personal optimism and faith that have shaped her life.

Amanda leaves audiences with an inspiring and unexpectedly uplifting message, a vision of courage for anyone coping with overwhelming loss or collective trauma. A poignant reflection on love, hope, motherhood, and the transformational power of music, Amanda reminds us that, sometimes, celebrating life today is the only path through tomorrow’s darkness.

As a former Broadway dancer and Radio City Rockette turned fitness guru to celebrities and the rest of us, Amanda Kloots leads an interactive fitness demo experience that focused on the health of both mind and body. Whether your group wants to sweat, learn new moves, or anything else, she creates a customer experience that is perfect for your audience.

In the Summer of 2021, Amanda released her memoir, the New York Times bestseller Live Your Life: My Story of Loving and Losing Nick Cordero that was co-authored with her sister Anna Kloots.

A former Broadway dancer and Radio City Rockette, Kloots performed on a variety of stage, film and TV productions for over 17 years. Her love of dance and fitness led her to work and lead classes at one of New York’s premiere fitness studios. Kloots developed the jump rope method after years of trying different ways to stay in great shape.

In 2016, Kloots decided to focus full time on her AK! Fitness brand – her signature classes feature jump ropes and dance mixed with cross training to create a unique full body workout. In addition to the AK! Fitness brand, Amanda Kloots and her sister, Anna Kloots, launched the apparel company Hooray For.
