Kristoffer Olson has performed his comedy magic show for over 1,000 events, from Anchorage to London and many places in between. His corporate and non-profit clients include Thrivent Financial, Metro Transit, Mensa, Illinois Institute of Technology, the Minnesota State Fair, and the Ordway Center for Performing Arts.
Outlook
Kristoffer embraces improvisation and audience interaction to help make each performance unique and full of energy. His improv style can be traced to his training with Brave New Workshop in Minneapolis, MN.
He also has extensive experience as a mascot performer (though he won’t reveal which ones!) and as a character entertainer for the Saint Paul Saints (see below). These experiences helped define his comedy style and allowed him to hone his chops in audience interaction.
Accomplishments
By age 17, Kristoffer Olson had been featured on national TV (Fox and The Learning Channel) and had won numerous awards from his fellow magicians. In Buffalo, NY, he competed against magicians from all over the world to become the International Brotherhood of Magicians’ Junior Stage Champion and a gold-medal finalist among all age groups. He was one of the youngest Americans to be inducted into The Magic Circle, the most exclusive magic club in the world.
Kristoffer has a Theater degree from the University of Minnesota and an MBA in Marketing Analytics from the University of Saint Thomas. The combination of art and science is not happenstance, but a defining character trait. In fact, it is the use of left-brain and right-brain thinking that initially attracted him to magic.
Magic, Comedy, and Improvisation
In this show, Kristoffer will shred a twenty dollar bill, later to find it in a factory-sealed bottle of water. He will also share with your audience his pet coathangers, restore a crushed Coke can to its full, unopened state, and read audience members’ minds. More importantly, your guests will be laughing from the mix of scripted and improvised moments throughout!
Experienced Professional
Kristoffer Olson is a true professional. It is important to him that your event runs smoothly. Because he has performed for hundreds of banquets and corporate events, Kristoffer knows how to make your job easier.
Whether you have a full theatrical venue or a banquet room at a restaurant, Kristoffer Olson will work directly with your facilities staff or stage technicians in advance and on the day of your show to ensure everything runs smoothly. Best of all, he will be set up and ready to go before your guests arrive.

Speaker fees can vary depending on factors such as expertise, demand, and event specifics. While some speakers may charge a flat fee for their services, others may have hourly rates. It’s best to discuss fee structures directly with the speaker or their representative to understand the pricing model.
Keynote speeches typically range from 30 to 90 minutes, with the duration determined by the speaker’s expertise, the event’s agenda, and audience preferences. Keynote speeches often include a combination of inspirational stories, practical insights, and actionable advice tailored to the event’s theme or objectives.
The scale of the event and audience size can indeed impact a speaker’s fee. Larger events with a broader reach or higher attendance may command higher fees due to increased exposure and demand. Conversely, smaller events or niche audiences may offer opportunities for more flexible pricing arrangements.
Travel expenses such as transportation, accommodation, and meals are typically negotiated separately from the speaker’s fee. These costs vary depending on the speaker’s location, travel distance, and event duration. It’s important to clarify travel arrangements and expenses during the booking process to avoid misunderstandings.
Many speakers require a deposit to secure a booking, with the remaining balance due closer to the event date. Deposits are often non-refundable and serve as a commitment from both parties. It’s advisable to discuss deposit requirements and payment terms with the speaker or their representative when finalizing the booking.
