Maria’s bestselling books—including Si soy tan buena, ¿por qué estoy soltera?, Mujer sin límite, and Pide más, espera más y obtendrás más—have all reached top rankings among Spanish-language motivational titles. Her life story fuels her mission. After losing her mother to breast cancer at age nine, Maria struggled with grief, loneliness and obesity. At 15, she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, a lifelong condition she has learned to manage with courage and determination.
