Her syndicated Univision Radio program, El Show de Maria, along with her newspaper columns, seminars, and online platforms, have made her a trusted voice in personal development for more than a decade.
Maria’s bestselling books—including Si soy tan buena, ¿por qué estoy soltera?, Mujer sin límite, and Pide más, espera más y obtendrás más—have all reached top rankings among Spanish-language motivational titles. Her life story fuels her mission. After losing her mother to breast cancer at age nine, Maria struggled with grief, loneliness and obesity. At 15, she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, a lifelong condition she has learned to manage with courage and determination. Maria Marin’s personal experiences is a source of inspiration. Her mother died of breast cancer when she was 9 years old. Her loneliness drove her to find comfort in food, and she struggled with being overweight.
