Jon Dorenbos is a former NFL Pro Bowl long snapper, America’s Got Talent finalist, and motivational keynote speaker who captivates audiences with a powerful blend of storytelling, humor, and world-class magic. After playing 14 seasons in the NFL, including two Pro Bowl selections with the Philadelphia Eagles, Jon transitioned from the football field to the stage with the same passion and discipline that defined his athletic career.
In 2016, Jon competed on America’s Got Talent, finishing third among tens of thousands of contestants. His sleight-of-hand performances earned him national acclaim and repeat appearances on major television programs. His journey took another unexpected turn when he underwent successful open-heart surgery to repair a life-threatening aortic valve condition, bringing his NFL career to a close.
Rather than viewing adversity as defeat, Jon embraced it as transformation. Today, he shares lessons drawn from professional sports, personal tragedy, and reinvention. His keynote programs focus on resilience, teamwork, leadership, embracing change, and maintaining a positive vision despite circumstances.

Jon Dorenbos played 14 seasons in the NFL, notably making the Pro Bowl twice as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. In 2016, Jon competed on America’s Got Talent where he showcased his skills as a sleight-of-hand magician, making it to the finals and placing third overall in the competition amongst tens of thousands of competitors.
Jon is a seasoned motivational and keynote speaker with more than 10 years of experience. His topics are typically tailor-made to his clients’ objectives and include: Life is Magic, The Power of Teamwork, Overcoming Obstacles, and Embracing Change.
Jon’s inspirational life story of triumph over adversity has been retold on national television in features by NBC, HBO, FOX Sports, ESPN, E! True Hollywood Story: An American Story, ABC, and CBS.

As a professional keynote speaker since 2008, Jon Dorenbos has motivated and wowed audiences including AT&T, Nationwide Insurance, Marriott International, Kroger Foods, Boeing, SAP, Black & Decker, Lincoln Financial, Nexxus, MGM Resorts International, Jackson Hewitt, Merrill Lynch, Taco Bell, Pappa John’s, DigiKey and numerous other Fortune 500 companies.
Jon Dorenbos was traded to the New Orleans Saints during training camp of the 2017 season. It was there that doctors discovered he had a heart condition that would require emergency open heart surgery…which ultimately ended his football career. He appeared on Ellen six weeks after surgery.
Ellen created a game show that Jon hosted. Jon Dorenbos would show up at your house and give you a chance to win money and crazy prizes. Here is one of Jon’s favorite moments hosting that show. After the episode was done filming… the cameras kept rolling as Jon surprised a little girl.
