About Course
When anyone wants to get ahead in their careers, or has started a business and wants to Own Your Network, they all are given this piece of advice: “You need to network with industry players.” The word ‘networking’ strikes fear into the hearts of many as there’s no blueprint for it.
Some individuals are naturally gregarious and are able to strike up meaningful conversations with many at conferences as well as networking events. However some (read ‘most of us’) huddle over the refreshments table – or studiously play with our phones – in the hope that no-one will approach them.
Own Your Network
Nadia Bilchik, who has developed the author-lead course Own Your Network, has also faced networking challenges. She and her husband – Steve Kesler – made the decision to take up an opportunity to move from South Africa to Atlanta, Georgia. Nadia’s family was a household name and have a footprint in many industries.
When she immigrated, she lost many things – important things such as having her parents nearby – however Nadia says that the most important thing that she lost, because of her move, was her network. She successfully redeveloped her network and landed up anchoring a number of television shows on CNN – one of the most well-known news networks.
In the “Own Your Own Network” author-led course, Nadia Bilchik teaches people about expert networking and lets people develop their own networking skills so that they can network like a pro.

Nadia has anchored and hosted feature programs for CNN International, CNN Airport Network and MNet Television (South Africa) and reported for CNN Weekend. Nadia was formerly Editorial Producer for CNN’s Weekend Morning program.
