    Bo McGowan is a leadership keynote speaker, former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, and certified speaker with Wingman Enterprises. With more than 6,400 flight hours in aircraft including the F-16 and T-37, McGowan brings a deep understanding of performance under pressure, decision-making, and team dynamics.

    His military career includes 42 combat missions over Iraq and Kuwait during the enforcement of the No Fly Zone in 1991. Beyond combat operations, McGowan commanded a 122-person training squadron and collaborated with NATO partners to train fighter pilots across thirteen nations, reinforcing his expertise in global leadership and cross-cultural teamwork.

    McGowan also contributed to a U.S. Air Force think tank focused on designing innovative, nontraditional training methods for the next generation of fighter pilots. His leadership experience extends into the corporate world, where he worked in the oil and gas industry recruiting and developing mid-level and executive talent.

    Recognized for his abilities to integrate team efforts, Bo worked as part of a special US Air Force Think Tank in creating the architecture for using nontraditional training methods for America’s next generation of fighter pilots.

    Lt Col Bo Guvner McGowan has also worked in the oil and gas industry as a business relationships manager where he was responsible for talent recruitment in mid-level and C-suite leadership positions.
