Following his collegiate success, he was drafted by the Kansas City Royals, marking the beginning of a promising professional baseball career. For three seasons, Mike donned the Royals’ jersey, displaying grit and dedication on the field. However, fate had other plans, as arm injuries prematurely halted his playing career while still in the minor leagues.
