Crowned Miss Hawaii 2000 and Miss America 2001, Angela’s rise captured national attention as a powerful symbol of representation for the Filipino-American community and a meaningful realization of her immigrant family’s American Dream. Before entering the national spotlight, Angela earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and served as a dedicated Catholic elementary school teacher and principal.
