Olympic bobsledder, Johnny Quinn is a highly sought-after speaker for businesses and organizations of all sizes. He has been featured on: ABC, BBC, CBS, CNN, ESPN, FOX, NBC, TIME, USA Today and in The Wall Street Journal. Who inspired you to pursue professional speaking?
Zig Ziglar, Andy Andrews and Inky Johnson have been the most influential.
What do you like most about professional speaking?
Seeing the audience take the tools and lessons I learned in professional athletics and transferring them into their lives. Very rewarding!
What do you dislike most about professional speaking?
I love everything about speaking!
Why have you succeeded in a field where many have failed? (public speaking)
Perseverance! I am very good at focusing on the necessary tasks to accomplishing an objective. That has helped me tremendously as a speaker.
Where did you grow up?
McKinney, Texas. 30 minutes north of Dallas, Texas
What did you study?
Pre-Law. I wanted to be an NFL agent.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Denzel Washington. Love that guy!
What do you watch on TV?
I am more of a reader.
How did you get started?
Doing pro bono speaking engagements to get my foot in the door.
What are your career goals?
Speaking in front of 25,000 people in a stadium. My largest crowd to date is 5,000 people.
What are your personal goals?
Maintain a healthy work-life balance.
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Spending time with my wife Amanda and our two children, Amelia and Oliver

Jerry Rice. He is arguably the greatest football player of all-time

I play golf and read

Yes, I know how to make balloon animals.
