Prior to his work with Get Your Shine, he is credited with establishing and leading internal marketing at Yahoo, and following the company’s acquisition from Verizon, he was the head of mojo.
As the founder of Get Your Shine, his belief is, ‘it takes simply one spark to ignite your path to success.
Anyone who has gone through a major business transformation knows the importance MOJO plays. Having been through a few big ones, AJ Sarcione learned that it’s the moments when leaders create a spark that fuels this internal magic.
When he was a communications executive at Yahoo, we were going through a major multi-billon dollar change that would result in Yahoo being sold. AJ noticed the smiles on people’s faces that were usually so bright had started to fade.
AJ Sarcione found an opportunity.
AJ built a global internal marketing organization from the ground up, which helped their CEO inspire employees as Yahoo was bought by Verizon, ultimately to be combined with their long time competitor, AOL. Given the success they had, a new job was created for AJ Sarcione, “head of MOJO and employee experience,” and he spent the next year flying around the world meeting and motivating employees with their new CEO’s vision. In both roles, AJ Sarcione leveraged imagination to design programs and tools that helped their employees shine.
During this time, AJ witnessed that people who imagined what was possible appeared happier and moved forward more easily.
So AJ Sarcione started his own company, Get Your Shine, to spark organization’s positive curiosity with the Imagination Method™.
From offices around the world to his ranch outside of Dallas / Fort Worth, AJ will get you to unlock & unblock your potential with a spark. He uses engaging tools and strategies to help you leverage the power of your heart to ignite your mind and Get Your Shine.
AJ has built and led global teams, and traveled and worked in more than 13 countries. His clients include Nike, Clifbar, Northwestern Mutual, Square, Univision, LinkedIn and more.
