DJ Tim Lacatena, a DJ, Saxophonist, and Emcee based in Los Angeles. From Super Bowl LVII to Villa Medici in Rome to tech conferences in Silicon Valley, his aim as a DJ is to ensure audiences have an unforgettable and electrifying night!
With over a decade of experience in the world of high-end events, Tim has DJ’d globally and across the nation for private and corporate clients such as Super Bowl LVII, Google, Gucci, Adidas, NEOM Saudi Arabia, Dreamforce 2023 (Salesforce), The Emmys, Variety, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Montblanc Madison Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Moët & Chandon, VMware, Zillow, Pure Storage, Slack, NFL, Philadelphia Eagles, NeueHouse Hollywood, The Venetian Las Vegas, Buster Posey, and Maria Cusumano.
Tim Lacatena work has taken me to Italy, the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas, Hawaii, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Austin, San Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Miami.

MUSIC DIRECTION
Tim Lacatena appreciates music from every genre/era, and love crafting sets that offer a wide range of styles, ensuring something for everyone to enjoy. Tim is a big fan of uplifting remixes, classic throwbacks and moments where everyone is singing along to timeless hits. He loves nu disco, funky house, electro pop and Saint-Tropez vibes.
Plus, Tim will mix in tons of gems from different decades and popular Top 40 jams. Tim is versatile, thrive on reading the room in real-time, and can curate the music to suit your event’s musical tastes.
BEYOND THE DECKS: MY ARTISTIC JOURNEY
Apart from music, DJ Tim Lacatena began my creative journey as a ballet dancer and actor. This path eventually led to roles in films and TV shows, including “Step Up,” “500 Days of Summer,” and Disney’s “Kickin’ It.”
