Stylish and sophisticated interior designer, Bobby Berk has carved an award-winning career from his passion for refining space.
The diversity advocate has not only made an impression on the industry through his entrepreneurial ventures but shot to international acclaim when he joined the cast of Netflix’s Queer Eye.
Determined to use his prominence to raise awareness, Bobby has been outspoken on LGBT+ rights, politics, and equality, ensuring others do not endure the same discrimination he did growing up.
The launch of Queer Eye in 2018 also saw the launch of the best-loved Fab Five, a group of experts covering everything from fashion to grooming that supported individuals in transforming their lives.
Featured as the design extraordinaire, Bobby brings to the table over 15 years of interior experiences and is tasked with renovating a range of homes to promote improved wellbeing for the contestant.
Now in its fifth series, Bobby’s home transformations continue to be one of the most popular aspects of the show, which has been recognised with eight Emmy awards to date.
Bobby is often shown discussing the topics of self-love, acceptance and toxic masculinity with guests of the series’ relating, supported by his personal experiences.
Having a passion for interiors in his youth led Bobby to move to New York to pursue his ambitions, and without any formal qualifications, he worked his way to the top, earning the position of Creative Director at Portico Home & Spa.
With an established reputation, Bobby launched Bobby Berk Home, an online store, which was followed by Bobby Berk Interiors & Design due to such success. The serial entrepreneur has been honoured with five Best of Houzz Awards for his outstanding designs.
Currently, Bobby remains at the helm of his thriving interiors service and is one of the most adored pop culture icons.
With more than 2.8 million followers on Instagram, Bobby’s reach is extensive, allowing him to use such prominence to discuss issues close to his heart.
Having been bullied for being openly gay, Bobby knows the challenges faced for those in the LGBT+ community and dedicates his speaking engagements to empowering diversity in individuals and corporate clients.

Speaker fees can vary depending on factors such as expertise, demand, and event specifics. While some speakers may charge a flat fee for their services, others may have hourly rates. It’s best to discuss fee structures directly with the speaker or their representative to understand the pricing model.
Keynote speeches typically range from 30 to 90 minutes, with the duration determined by the speaker’s expertise, the event’s agenda, and audience preferences. Keynote speeches often include a combination of inspirational stories, practical insights, and actionable advice tailored to the event’s theme or objectives.
The scale of the event and audience size can indeed impact a speaker’s fee. Larger events with a broader reach or higher attendance may command higher fees due to increased exposure and demand. Conversely, smaller events or niche audiences may offer opportunities for more flexible pricing arrangements.
Travel expenses such as transportation, accommodation, and meals are typically negotiated separately from the speaker’s fee. These costs vary depending on the speaker’s location, travel distance, and event duration. It’s important to clarify travel arrangements and expenses during the booking process to avoid misunderstandings.
Many speakers require a deposit to secure a booking, with the remaining balance due closer to the event date. Deposits are often non-refundable and serve as a commitment from both parties. It’s advisable to discuss deposit requirements and payment terms with the speaker or their representative when finalizing the booking.
