Katey McCausey, also known as DJ KaMcCauZey, is a certified DJ from the best DJ school in world, Scratch DJ Academy in Los Angeles. She graduated top of her class in 2014, and also has a Master’s Degree in dance fromUCI.Katey has been performing on-stage in dance and theater since she was 5-years-old.
Her dad was also a DJ, so she grew-up around music and helping her dad DJ events. Music and dance are the only world she’s ever known. This has led to her vast knowledge of musical genres and her unique ability to adapt to any event type or audience.
KaMcCauZey is one of a few female DJ’s who can mix on turntables and play real DJ sets. Katey is highly organized and pays attention to every detail, including how guests are responding to each song and adapts throughout the night to ensurE every event is enjoyable and executed perfectly.
With such a huge passion for the art form, she continues taking lessons regularly to hone her skills. DJ KaMcCauZey has DJ’d for artists and brands such as Snoop Dogg, Bloomingdales, Macy’s, Gold’s Gym, Nike, the OC Marathon, hotels and casinos, to name just a few. These experiences, as well as being a type-A perfectionist, means your event will be handled with unmatched professionalism, ease, and most importantly, fun!
