Give Your Employees C.R.A.P…®
The Success Formula for Building Employee Loyalty
Why do some bosses have loyal staffs of long-term employees, while others are poster children for employee turnover? The answer is C.R.A.P. … and successful bosses know how to dish it out. Drawing on his extensive experience as a talent recruiter and HR leader, Jeff explains why some employees will run through a brick wall for their boss, while others would gladly throw their boss off a wall. Jeff’s lively, give-and-take program helps participants understand that the formula for employee loyalty is simple: Give Your Employees C.R.A.P.®.
Jeff deciphers why some employees gladly go the extra mile for their supervisors … while others work only for a paycheck, and are out the door at 5 p.m. As a “headhunter” and human resources executive, he’s heard firsthand from candidates why bosses who give their people lots of C.R.A.P. can count on them when times get tough.
Drawing on his three-decades career, Jeff uses real-life stories and audience participation to help attendees understand the C.R.A.P. formula to driving employee loyalty and employee retention. His insight is unique, to say the least. Most importantly, participants leave with tangible ideas and action steps – ones they can implement immediately to strengthen employee loyalty and retention in their own organizations.
Creating a Culture of C.R.A.P. – How Culture Will Drive Results in the New Workplace
Why do some organizations rarely have open positions, get great employee reviews on hiring websites, and produce excellent results year after year?
How are some bosses able to build tremendous loyalty among their teams, to where employees will do almost anything for them?
It’s culture – plain and simple. Leaders and organizations that understand this enjoy sustained success. They know a people-centered culture drives results – not the opposite.
Creating this culture is not just lip service, though.
The secret is C.R.A.P. Grasp it, embrace it, practice it … and don’t be surprised when employee turnover drops, and productivity goes in the other direction.
As a veteran employee retention consultant, Jeff learned this long ago. His experiences as an HR leader, “headhunter,” coach and U.S. Army veteran taught him that making people the foundation of an organization is the secret sauce of success.
How to do so? This is both an “idea” program and a “process” program. Through real-life stories and interactive participation, Jeff explains how to build an engaged and loyal workforce.
He provides actionable steps for immediate use, to build a culture of C.R.A.P. that transforms organizations and points their success arrow upward. Empower and challenge your workforce … and be amazed at the results.
Soon, you and your organization might be the success stories that others marvel at. When asked how you did it, just say “It’s all C.R.A.P.®!”

Making Millennials Great: Five Pillars to Building the Next Generation
Employers everywhere scratch their heads over “millennials,” the most recent workforce generation. They are indeed different – perhaps among the most mysterious, misunderstood groups ever.
Well, it’s time to stop working around millennial employees … and start working with them. In fact, how about molding them into peak performers?
Employee retention speaker and trainer Jeff Kortes’s “5 Pillars for Building the Next Generation” provides a blueprint. His live-action program offers real-world, hands-on direction for engaging this perplexing demographic.
Jeff’s not taking on this topic alone. He’s partnered with Randy Wilinski, a 30-something professional, to offer a generations-spanning perspective.
As a manager, Randy has hired, fired and inspired millennials for a decade. Partnered with Jeff, their generational differences meld through humorous anecdotes, interactive role play and audience involvement.
You’ll learn how millennials think, how they’re motivated, and why they will (or won’t) go the extra mile. Most importantly, you’ll come away understanding the Five Pillars to building the millennial generation and unlocking its productive potential.
Like it or not, millennials are the future. Understanding the keys to millennial employee engagement, and retention, allows you to start shaping tomorrow’s leaders today.
No more head-scratching. No more avoiding the obvious. Jeff’s program bridges the generational divide … and provides the tools to mold millennials into masterpieces.
Age Gracefully? No, Age Healthfully!
Let the future be your motivation for fitness!
Our sedentary world makes it hard to stay fit. We work long hours at our desks. Maybe eat too much takeout from restaurants. Probably watch too much TV, because … well, we can’t miss our favorite shows, right?
Inactivity has a high price, though. Do you want to be able chase your kids or grandkids around… travel and fully enjoy your life … even be able to get off the toilet without assistance? How about just look in the mirror and feel good about yourself?
The cost of poor health is steep. The solution lies in doing something … just a bit at a time. Employee retention speaker (and power lifter) Jeff Kortes wants you to “Be Fit for You!” If you’re feeling a bit unfit, Jeff can relate. He was active earlier in life – wrestling, distance running and martial arts. Those drifted away. Still, he wasn’t overweight, or grievously out of shape. He just wasn’t … aging healthy.
At 59, Jeff had an epiphany. His son said he looked “frail.” Taking a hard look in the mirror, Jeff realized he was right. Thus began a quest that took him to places never foreseen.
Jeff took up crossfit training. His passion quickly grew. Serious weightlifting followed. Less than a decade later, he was competing in the USA Powerlifting National Championships.
The experience brought a stark realization: Without engaging to get fit, Jeff would have encountered serious, negative lifestyle changes. He was on the precipice. He committed to be fit… and help others do so, too!
In this energetic presentation, Jeff provides actionable steps toward better health and, as importantly, motivation for fitness to keep moving forward. Getting fit doesn’t have to be expensive or time-consuming. It can be fun, fulfilling and a way to meet new friends.
The process starts with measured goals. Doing something, no matter how small, is better than nothing. Jeff details an approach that, taken in stride, yields results that will have you feeling better and living a fuller life.
Jeff couldn’t be a successful employee retention trainer – traveling regularly, going on stage, and making dynamic presentations – without being fit. He didn’t want to be a frail old man. Healthy activity prolonged his career and enhanced his life.
You, too, can enjoy a healthier, more vibrant life, regardless of age. The first step can be the
hardest … so let Jeff help you get off the couch and into the game!
