WHY TRAVEL?

At times, traveling with the family can be exhausting, expensive and cumbersome, but sometimes we need to be reminded that traveling as a family has benefits above just relaxation and some Vitamin D. When the stress of traveling might seem overwhelming just remember these few things to help you remember why you travel.

Traveling builds relationships Some of our best memories as kids are the ones spent on family vacations. I can remember almost every family vacation we took, because of the memories that we created together. When you spend time together, it only makes you connect more with one another.

Traveling together can also build a sense of community and belonging. Traveling revives our soul It can be easy to focus on the mundane parts of life. Sometimes we can get stuck in a rut that makes us forget about everything life has to offer.

It can bring us out of our rut and give us a new perspective on life. Traveling = Education We are constantly learning, especially on vacation. It doesn’t matter if we travel a couple miles away or to an entirely different destination, we will learn something new.

Traveling teaches us new languages and customs, economics, geography and so much more. Wanderlust Derived for the german word for wandern, many people “lust” for travel, equating to wanderlust.

People love to meet new people and explore places different from their norm. People who experience wanderlust are planning their next vacation while on vacation.
