    Keynote Topics:

    Signature keynote · the F.E.A.R. Protocol™ and Pressure Profile™ · 45–60 minutes

Under pressure, your brain changes before your behavior does. The most costly leadership failures aren’t caused by not knowing what to do — they’re caused by the gap between knowing and doing. Eddie spent more than 20 years inside one of the world’s most pressure-concentrated environments for human decision-making. This keynote is the system he built from it.

    WHAT THE ROOM LEAVES WITH

    • Why capable people hesitate — Hesitation isn’t a lack of ability or experience. It’s a predictable human response to pressure, and once a team can name it they can interrupt it before it costs them the moment.
    • A protocol they can run under pressure — The F.E.A.R. Protocol™ — Focus, Evaluate, Act, Review. Simple and repeatable, for pressure, uncertainty, or any moment hesitation threatens to slow a decision down.
    • Their own pressure profile — A live audience diagnostic. Every person identifies their decision-making archetype under pressure — Analyzer, Initiator, Forecaster or Operator — and leaves with language the organization can use Monday morning.

    WHY IT LANDS

Most leadership content addresses what to decide. This one addresses the moment of commitment — and it comes from a career where hesitation affected safety, careers and sometimes lives, not a quarterly number.

    WHO IT IS FOR

Executive leadership, leadership conferences, sales kickoffs, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, government, and high-performance teams.

Story-driven keynote · six chapters, six lessons

Drawing on more than 20 years as a Hollywood stuntman, Eddie takes audiences through a life of literal and figurative impact — from an overweight, bullied kid who once saw no future for himself, to performing on some of the biggest film and television productions in the world. Through cinematic storytelling, humor, vulnerability and behind-the-scenes Hollywood experiences, the journey unfolds one chapter at a time, each revealing a different lesson about what challenges teach us and what setbacks create.

    WHAT THE ROOM LEAVES WITH

    • Resistance builds you — The challenges you’d never choose may be the very experiences developing the strength you’ll need for what comes next.
    • The setback can be the setup — What feels like it’s taking you backward may be positioning you for an opportunity you can’t see yet.
    • Our experiences shape who we are — Every success, failure, risk, rejection and unexpected turn becomes part of us, and shapes what we’re capable of.
    • The experience doesn’t define you — what you take from it does — Every difficult moment leaves a choice in what we carry forward. A shift in perspective can reveal what we couldn’t see while we were in it.

    WHY IT LANDS

Six chapters — Three Stories Up, The Move to L.A., The Hit That Changed Everything, Hugh Jackman, When the Script Disappears, and Superman — give a room a narrative arc rather than a list of takeaways, which is why it works as an opener or a closer.

    WHO IT IS FOR

Conference openings and closings, association events, all-hands and team kickoffs, retreats and off-sites, safety conferences, healthcare, first-responder, military and veteran, and education audiences.

Experiential session · 60 minutes condensed, 75 minutes full (recommended)

A facilitated immersive breath experience designed to help leaders and teams quiet the noise, strengthen presence, and experience what becomes possible when they regain command of their internal state. Participants are guided through progressive rounds of conscious connected breathing — The Walk, two Jogs, The Sprint, and Stillness — and practice remaining present while discomfort, resistance or emotion is happening. That is where the experience connects to performance under pressure: steadiness isn’t learned by being told to stay calm.

    WHAT PEOPLE TAKE AWAY

Increased mental clarity and focus · reduced stress and tension · greater emotional awareness · a stronger mind-body connection · a renewed sense of calm and presence · greater trust in their own capacity.

    PLACEMENT

Delivered in person or live virtually, as an experiential add-on to the Decisive Under Pressure™ keynote or as a standalone session for leadership retreats, offsites, conferences and workshops. Works especially well as an afternoon, breakout, post-break or next-morning session.

    PARTICIPATION NOTE

Physically active and always voluntary — participants decide how deeply they engage and remain behind the wheel of their own experience from beginning to end. Certain conditions (five months or more pregnant, antipsychotic medications, recent surgery, seizures or epilepsy) require medical clearance or a modified experience. Facilitated through the Sacred Flow Breathwork Method™; not affiliated with or presented as Holotropic Breathwork®. A full Host & Participation Note with complete health guidelines and room requirements is provided to every host in advance.

    Talent Short Bio

For more than 20 years as a Hollywood stuntman, Eddie Davenport has performed on some of the biggest productions in film and television, stunt doubling for lead actors including Hugh Jackman and Zachary Levi, and the iconic characters Wolverine and Superman. His career spans 140+ television episodes and 40+ feature films. He is a Satellite Award winner for Stunt Performance on The Suicide Squad and a two-time SAG Award nominee for stunt ensemble.

But executing the stunt wasn’t the only difficult part. There was also the moment right before the call of “Action” — when preparation ends and you either commit or you don’t. Today, Eddie brings what he learned in those moments to the stage, helping leaders and teams recognize hesitation, make decisions and act under pressure.

For more than 20 years as a Hollywood stuntman, Eddie Davenport has made a living doing things most people would spend their lives avoiding — falling from heights, crashing through glass, being hit by cars and launching through the air on some of the biggest productions in Hollywood.

As one of the top 2% of Hollywood stunt performers, Eddie Davenport has stunt doubled for lead actors including Hugh Jackman and Zachary Levi and iconic characters including Wolverine and Superman. He has performed in 140+ television episodes and 40+ feature films, among them Superman, Logan, Real Steel, Shazam!, Captain America, The Suicide Squad, Stranger Things, and The Walking Dead — and is a Satellite Award winner for Stunt Performance on The Suicide Squad. He is also a two-time Screen Actors Guild Award nominee for stunt ensemble, on Logan and X-Men: First Class. His work and story have been featured in Men’s Health, Vanity Fair, and Radio Times.

But executing the stunt wasn’t the only difficult part. There was also the moment right before the call of “Action” — when preparation ends and you either commit or you don’t. On a set, hesitation doesn’t just cost money; it can affect safety, careers and sometimes lives. For two decades, Eddie experienced those moments firsthand and learned what it takes to make decisions and act when the pressure is real.

Today, Eddie Davenport brings those experiences to the stage to help leaders and teams recognize hesitation, make decisions and move into action. His signature keynote, Decisive Under Pressure™, combines cinematic storytelling, behind-the-scenes Hollywood experiences and practical takeaways with his F.E.A.R. Protocol™ and Pressure Profile™. Built For Impact™ takes audiences through six defining chapters from Eddie’s life and career, exploring how resistance, setbacks, preparation, perspective and the choices we make along the way shape who we become. Steady Under Pressure™ — The Immersive Breath Experience uses breath as the vehicle for awareness, presence and internal regulation.

Eddie Davenport works with leaders, teams and organizations facing moments where decisions matter, hesitation has consequences and knowing what to do isn’t always enough.

    Talent FAQ's

Speaker fees can vary depending on factors such as expertise, demand, and event specifics. While some speakers may charge a flat fee for their services, others may have hourly rates. It’s best to discuss fee structures directly with the speaker or their representative to understand the pricing model.

Keynote speeches typically range from 30 to 90 minutes, with the duration determined by the speaker’s expertise, the event’s agenda, and audience preferences. Keynote speeches often include a combination of inspirational stories, practical insights, and actionable advice tailored to the event’s theme or objectives.

The scale of the event and audience size can indeed impact a speaker’s fee. Larger events with a broader reach or higher attendance may command higher fees due to increased exposure and demand. Conversely, smaller events or niche audiences may offer opportunities for more flexible pricing arrangements.

Travel expenses such as transportation, accommodation, and meals are typically negotiated separately from the speaker’s fee. These costs vary depending on the speaker’s location, travel distance, and event duration. It’s important to clarify travel arrangements and expenses during the booking process to avoid misunderstandings.

Many speakers require a deposit to secure a booking, with the remaining balance due closer to the event date. Deposits are often non-refundable and serve as a commitment from both parties. It’s advisable to discuss deposit requirements and payment terms with the speaker or their representative when finalizing the booking.

    • Virtual speaking appearances are a cost-effective alternative to high speaking fees, often 10-50% cheaper than in-person rates.
    • There is typically no difference in fee for a 15-minute speech versus a 60-minute speech.
    • Some motivational speakers are open to discounting their fee if hired for more than one event by the same organization.
    • When browsing speakers, consider their location to keep travel costs down.
    • Personal connections to your organization or event location can increase your chances of securing a renowned speaker.
    • Be upfront about your needs and expectations to ensure a successful partnership.
    • Speaker bureaus like Speakers Inc help guide you through the booking process to negotiate the best deal with favorable terms.
